The problem with most training is that it is boring, irrelevant, or worse yet, both.
Unlike children, adults learn on a need to know basis. If they need to know something, they are motivated to learn. Typically, training consists of packing people into a room to watch someone else talk, perform, or think. That type of training is about as effective as watching TV because, like TV, it is passive in nature. By and large, passive means of learning just don't work.
Randy turns the learning process upside down by asking a series of thought provoking questions and then allowing the group to come up with relevant answers while teaching each other through group dynamics and interactive fascilitation.
